Céline Camirand has been a visual artist for some thirty years. She has participated in several workshops and artistic training courses over the years and has had solo and group exhibitions, mainly in Montreal and the Gaspé Peninsula.

Passionate about art and culture, she founded an independent bookshop near Montreal after a brief detour into teaching art history at college level. In 2006, she settled part-time in Baie-des-Chaleurs and then opened a second bookshop with a gallery in Carleton-sur-mer in 2015, where she exhibits year-round.
Today, Céline Camirand is a member of two artist collectives (Les Pinceaux Échevelés and Les Beaux Mardis) with whom she shares two studios, in addition to creating part-time in her studio in the Gaspé Peninsula.
She also holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in art history.
Her works are part of private collections in Canada and the United States.
Céline Camirand est artiste plasticienne depuis une trentaine d’années. Elle a participé à plusieurs ateliers et formations artistiques au fil des ans et a à son actif des expositions solos et collectives, surtout à Montréal et en Gaspésie.
Passionnée d’art et de culture, elle a fondé une librairie indépendante près de Montréal après un bref détour par l’enseignement de l’histoire de l’art au collégial. En 2006 elle s’est établie à temps partiel dans la Baie-des-Chaleurs puis a ouvert en 2015 une deuxième librairie avec un volet galerie à Carleton-sur-mer où elle expose à l’année.
Aujourd’hui Céline Camirand fait partie de deux regroupements d’artistes (Les Pinceaux Échevelés et Les Beaux Mardis) avec qui elle partage deux ateliers, en plus de créer à temps partiel dans son atelier gaspésien.
Elle est aussi détentrice d’un baccalauréat et d’une maîtrise en Histoire de l’art.
Ses œuvres font partie de collections privées au Canada et aux États-Unis.
