2025 Exhibition
Eight modern artists were paired with an artist from the past who was a radical in her own era. An artist who broke the rules, who worked around the constraints placed on her because of her gender to create art. Radicals who continue to inspire us. Our present day artist was asked to create a work in response to create a dialogue between the past and the present.
Huit artistes contemporaines ont été associées à une artiste du passé qui était radicale à son époque. Une artiste qui a enfreint les règles, qui a contourné les contraintes imposées par son genre pour créer de l’art. Des radicales qui continuent de nous inspirer. Notre artiste contemporaine a été invitée à créer une œuvre visant à établir un dialogue entre le passé et le présent.
